Job Summary:

All Embracing Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Job Coach to support individuals with developmental disabilities in reaching their employment goals. This role involves job search support, hands-on training, and ongoing coaching to ensure successful integration into the workplace. Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive to shifts on time and dressed in business casual attire, depending on the individual's employment process stage.
• Assist with job search tasks including resume creation and interview preparation.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to individuals at their work sites.
• Implement individualized coaching and employment plans.
• Maintain detailed shift documentation covering performance, appearance, and interpersonal interactions.
• Submit a monthly summary report to the DD Program Coordinator, highlighting progress, areas for improvement, and general observations.
• Communicate promptly with the DD Program Coordinator regarding concerns or questions about the individual's job plan or duties.
• Adhere to North Dakota state regulations and All Embracing Home Care policies for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Schedule Information:

• Initial hours may be higher to accommodate job search and application support.
• Schedules are flexible and may change based on client preferences or employer needs.
• As the client becomes more independent, AEHC may reduce support hours (“fade”).
• Staff may opt to focus on one client at a time or support multiple clients if scheduling permits.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites in the Fargo area.
• A passion for helping others succeed and grow in their independence.
