Seasonal Care Manager 

Temporary, Part-Time or Full-Time (Holiday Season)

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Managers to join our team for the holiday season. As a seasonal Care Manager, you will provide support and companionship to persons supported who need assistance with daily activities, especially during this festive time of year. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, patience, and empathy, ensuring clients enjoy a safe, comfortable, and joyful holiday experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist person supported with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

- Provide companionship and engage in conversation or holiday activities to help combat loneliness during the season

- Support persons supported with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and holiday-specific tasks (e.g., decorating, card writing)

- Run errands or accompany person supported to holiday events, or shopping if needed

- Ensure person supported medications are taken as prescribed and monitor their overall well-being

- Maintain accurate records of care and report any significant changes in the person supported condition to the Program Coordinator

- Observe person supported emotional and mental health, offering comfort and compassion during what may be a challenging or isolating time for some

- Foster a warm, positive atmosphere, helping person supported enjoy the festive season safely and comfortably

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)

- High level of empathy, patience, and adaptability

- Ability to handle physical requirements, including lifting or assisting person supported with mobility

- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as required

- Valid driver’s license and up to date car insurance
